Paxton MV Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

David Paxton has been growing grapes in McLaren Vale for over 30 years – his expertise certainly shows in this Cabernet.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep red purple.
On the nose: Ripe red berry, cassis, liquorice and olive.
On the palate: Elegant yet intense, firm and ripe with a dense core of red berry, blackcurrant, plum and anise in a medium weight and beautifully balanced frame. All elements in cohesion with fantastic fruit drive, length and youthful vibrancy.
