Some fantastic Pinot is coming out of Western Australia's Great Southern, and this one from Plantagenet is a cracker. Lovely with or without food.
Pale garnet. Cherry, cranberry, redcurrant and chinotto bitters aromas. Light to medium-bodied, with a bright core of red berries and sweet spice, hints of black tea and sarsaparilla, silken tannin texture, balanced savoury oak and a long finish.
