Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula might not be one of Australia’s largest wine regions, but it certainly has a big reputation for premium Pinot as you’ll discover in this beautifully plush example from Yabby Lake.
In the glass: Medium density Pinot red.
On the nose: Lifted strawberry and blood plum with touches of earth and stalk.
On the palate: Delicate yet plush with a juicy core of fruit, seamless velvety structure and a silken tannin mouth-feel. The texture is beautifully plush and the core of fruit generous. A lovely example of the variety with just the right amount of stalky spice.
