Robert Oatley Signature Series Barossa Shiraz 2013

Although the winery is based in Mudgee, Robert Oatley Vineyards specialise in sourcing parcels of fruit from all over Australia and select the variety that performs best from each region.
 
In the glass: Inky dark red.
On the nose: Concentrated dark fruits and spice over toasty oak with an earthy, rustic lift.
On the palate: Dense and fleshy with a solid mix of black fruit, liquorice and dark chocolate, warm spice and toasty oak.
