The fruit for this single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on Rochford’s Isabella‘s vineyard on Briarity Road in Gruyere. The mature vines were planted in 1993.
Deep red to purple. Pretty aromas of potpourri, black olive, liquorice and tobacco. Very varietal, classy and elegant, with a core of blue and red fruit, fine-grained tannins, lovely toasty oak, and a long, plush finish. Still so youthful.
