In 1970, Sandalford was one of three initial pioneers of the Margaret River wine region when the first vines were planted at its 300 hectare vineyard at Wilyabrup.
Deep, dark red. Black pepper over blackberry, plum and charry oak. Bright and vibrant yet deep and rich with a dark core of black fruit, attractive liquorice and bay leaf complexity, spicy tannins and balanced acidity driving the long, rich finish.
