Iconic Barossa winery Château Tanunda left their 2009 Grand Cuvée Blanc de Blancs on its yeast lees for a remarkable 10 years before disgorging, giving it tremendous richness and complexity. The palate is quite restrained with complex secondary notes of toasted bread, cashew and butterscotch, fine creamy mousse and velvety smooth finish. Still shows some primary citrus and peach.
Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir from Tasmania’s Tamar Valley by award-winning winemaker Jeremy Dineen, the Josef Chromy Sparkling Rosé NV is very pure and bright with excellent balance and persistence, and a long dry finish.
