Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Shiraz 2016

In years where not everyone made great wines, you can always count on wineries with mountains of local regional experience to produce the goods. And in the Hunter, in 2016, that was without doubt – Tyrrell’s.
 
In the glass: Dark red violet.
On the nose: Mocha, cassis and cedar oak.
On the palate: A solid core of red and black fruits with loads of white and black pepper, touches of cocoa and bay leaf, medium density tannins and well judged oak in support.
