This level of quality at the price is hard to find. Vasse Felix have added a small amount of Malbec for extra structure and depth, which has created a very complete wine.
Inky dark red. Complex aromas of black pepper with hints of damp earth and mushroom. Dense and rich, a very savoury style with plummy fruit, charcuterie and toasty oak in harmony, supple acidity and a long, concentrated finish. Very Rhône-like.
