Many think one of the keys to Margaret River’s Chardonnay success is it uses a variety of Chardonnay called ‘Gin Gin’ or Mendoza where the grapes ripen at uneven rates on the same bunches.
In the glass: Pale lemon green.
On the nose: Apple, pineapple, grapefruit and cashew.
On the palate: Vibrant with a deep core of yellow and white fruits, nutty complexity, fine, almost salty acidity and charry oak.
