Watershed Shades Merlot 2016

The climate of Margaret River that appeals to Cabernet also makes it the perfect region to grow high quality Merlot, and Watershed have perfected the art!
 
In the glass: Deep ruby with a purple tinge.
On the nose: Black fruits with dried bay leaf.
On the palate: Intense and full of flavour – blackcurrant and mulberry come first, bay leaf, mint and olive follow. Not content with just being soft and fruity, this Merlot has a fine but tightly wound tannin spine.
