William Downie is one of the cult Pinot Noir producers in Australia. The fruit for this wine is sourced from Victoria's Gippsland, creating a very complex and latent style.
Medium ruby (unfiltered). Subtle, very restrained nose of dark cherry, plum compote, black tea and olive. Medium-weight, complex and slightly wild, with a supple mix of cherry and strawberry, lovely clove spice, supple acidity and savoury tannin power.
