Although probably better known for its Shiraz and Grenache-based blends, McLaren Vale also excels at Cabernet, as this beautifully regional example shows.
Deep garnet red. Blackcurrant, plum, cassis, white pepper and toasty oak. Ripe, juicy and full-flavoured. Rich in black fruit flavours, complex pepper and kitchen spice notes, plenty of chocolatey oak and a powerful finish.
