Darling Estate Aligoté 2022

Fine, lifted aromatics of sweet honeydew, lemons, figs and pears meld together to form an attractive and complexing aromatic landscape: quite attractive!

These notes flow through to a generous, well constructed flavour profile adding lemon and peach over fresh rosemary and thyme. Structurally impressive: if you like Chardonnay, you'll find much to love here.

Michelini Italian Selection Nebbiolo Rosé 2024

A unique and earthy Rosé displaying typical Nebbiolo characteristics. Pours with a pretty spring time pink hue, presenting with floral and blood orange aromatics, and flavours of Turkish Delight and citrus.

Mitolo Perduto Pecorino 2023

A fantastic addition to the growing ranks of good Pecorino wine now available in Australia. Appealing aromatics of sweet and dry fruit: melon, peach, nectarine and sweet pear.

Energetic with drive and power, characterised by creamy lemon, preserved lemon, just ripe pear, green apples and baked pastry, and earthy, chalky mineral characteristics. A great dinner party all-rounder.

Mitolo Scylla Nero d'Avola 2023

A very nice representation of a Sicilian classic! Herb tinged aromatics of maraschino cherry, blackberry, plums and star anise.

Full bodied and generous, with a well constructed frame of blackberry, cherry, plum and mulberry. Great sweet and sour balance make this wine complex, brooding and delicious.

Texturally quite soft and silky with a clean finish, this is one to be savoured.

Peterson House Pinot Noir Chardonnay Meunier 2017

From a region not typically known for its sparkling wines, this is a traditionally constructed offering from the Hunter Valley's most respected sparkling specialists.

A generous, complex and savoury nose, characterised by tight layers of citrus, fig, red fruits and a hint of complexing autolytic aromatics. The palate is generous and refined, with fine and well integrated layers of stonefruits, fresh quince and lemon curd, and a dry and moreish finish.

Fleshy, open and generous aromatics with an exciting mix of baked apples, preserved lemons and baked figs spiked with lime juice and spicy lime skin.

Mouthfeel is juicy and abundant with savoury citrus lines that lead to a moreish, sweet and sour balance of grapefruit, pomelo and Granny Smith. There's much to enjoy here: a great food wine for a summer's day!

Violets, cloves, mulberry and dried herbs lift the aromatics and a balanced swathe of dark berries, liquorice and herbs skate across a glossy palate for a tidy finish.

Well defined and pronounced white pepper and spice aromatics, fine boned tannins and a mouthfeel that is elegant and well integrated. One for the cellar.
