Wines of the Season: First Creek Wines
a new label for a long tradition
The Hunter Valley's First Creek Wines is the brainchild of Greg Silkman, who along with his wife, Jenny, created it after acquiring and growing Tamburlaine and Allanmere wineries. It remains a family affair, with their children Shaun and Katie involved, as well as Shaun's wife, Liz Silkman, who is one of Australia's most highly awarded winemakers. The First Creek team sources quality fruit from prominent vineyards across the Hunter Valley and New South Wales. This ensures their wine is made using premium fruit each vintage, and allows them to produce a diverse range of varietals.
