Grenache is one of McLaren Vale's signature red varieties, and it thrived in the warm 2019 vintage. Here the addition of Shiraz adds spice, and Mataro muscle and depth.
Youthful deep red. Developing leather and cigar box under sweet dark cherry. Quite rich with some secondary development appearing as black olive and earth, velvety tannins, plush mouthfeel, and a terrifically long finish. Drinking well.
