A master of alternate varietals, Alex Russell has crafted another fantastic Joven-style red. It's energetic and varietal, making it an excellent food wine.
Mid to dark crimson purple. Dark and brooding spiced plum, boysenberry, dark cherry and spice. Plush, full and brightly-fruited with layers of dark berries and cocoa powder, very fine-grained tannins, and a long, textural finish. Very well made.
