The fruit for the Cabernet is selected from old vine material from the Wilgha and Neilson's Block vineyards at the cooler, southern end of Coonawarra. Very well-made.
Deep, dark red. Complex aromas of mulberry, liquorice, crushed herbs and charcuterie. Richly-flavoured, with a very concentrated core of black fruit and cassis, with hints of amaro and anise, powerful tannins, and a rich, decadent finish.
