It's well known that some of our best Cabernet hails from Coonawarra, and this example from Jim Brand also has the advantage of a few years in the bottle already.
Deep, dark red. Blackcurrant, plum, dried herb, black tea and cedar oak. Tightly-wound with a plush core of classic Cabernet cassis and plum, with attractive bay leaf, mint and cedar, sinewy tannins and lovely savoury oak in support.
