Most often blended with Cabernet, Merlot as a single variety is comparatively rare, however it's hard to know why with moreish examples like this one.
Medium to deep red. Vibrant and fresh aromas of blueberry, plum, mocha and pot pourri. Fresh, juicy and medium-weight, with lashings of red and blue fruit, fine cedary tannins, earthy complexity, with bay leaf and white pepper on the juicy finish.
