Andrew Margan and his team excel at alternative varieties, and his Ceres Hill Barbera is one of the best we've tasted in a long time. Very classy.
Fresh crimson red. Floral nose with a lovely mix of violet and raspberry. Refined palate, with red berries and pomegranate, giving juicy softness yet sinewy focus and length, fine acidity and glossy tannins. A lovely young-drinker.
