Touriga is a Portuguese variety, and thrives in Nugan Estate's home in NSW's Riverina. Their Carver Vineyard is one of the best examples of the variety we've seen this year.
Deep red black in appearance. Lifted aromas of currant, plum and toasty oak. Very full-bodied, with a rich core of dark cherry and plum, deeper layers of cassis and clove, muscular tannins, and a long, decadent finish.
