In 2014 winemaker Nikki Palun decided to pursue her dream, and started to make wines under the Octtava label. If this Shiraz is any indication, if was the right choice.
Medium density red. Aromas of blackberry, plum, mocha, old leather and cedar. Still quite fresh, with a savoury mix of black and blue fruits, well-integrated oak, juicy acidity, fine tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Drinking well.
