McLaren Vale and the greater Fleurieu Peninsula are well known for pioneering the new wave varieties in Australia, and this one is a terrific example. A Gold medal winner.
Deep red. Blackberry, dark cherry, mulberry and tobacco aromas. Shows a sweet mix of black and purple fruit, fine yet dense tannins and vanillin oak spice to finish. A lovely all-rounder with excellent food-friendly appeal.
