Merlot is sometimes perceived as a bit of an underdog, but wines like this show that the perception can be misguided. A delicious example of the variety as a stand-alone wine.
Youthful dark red. Spicy dark berry fruit, toasty oak and black pepper aromas. Bright red and blue fruit entry, with vibrant acid freshness, excellent depth and flavour persistence, and plenty of youthful appeal.
