Durif originated in France's Rhône Valley, and found its Australian home in Victoria's Rutherglen, where it produces wines of great depth, power, structure and longevity.
Deep, dark red. Liquorice, amaro, blackberry and hickory aromas. Rich and massively flavoursome, with a powerhouse mix of black olive, pepper and dark chocolate, firm varietal tannins, supple acidity and plenty of oak. A meal in a glass.
