Tahbilk produce excellent Cabernet, vintage to vintage, and this 2016 example is no exception. Drinking well now and over the next couple of years.
Medium density red. Blackcurrant, plum, vanilla and tobacco on the nose. Medium weight and savoury yet with a bold mix of varietal cassis and plum with crushed bay leaf complexity, fine tannin foundation and a long finish.
