Victorian Cabernet can sometimes fly under the radar, especially compared to those from Margaret River and Coonawarra, however wines like this are bound to stir up the status quo. An interesting new organic range from Zilzie.
Medium red in appearance. Lifted red fruit, plum, dark chocolate and vanilla aromas. Youthful and fresh with earth and crushed herbs before mulberry and bay leaf, with tight acidity, quite soft tannins, and a dry, earthy finish.
