Merite are Merlot specialists, working with new clones with the aim of creating serious Aussie examples. They've also shown that the variety can make excellent Rosé.
Bright medium salmon colour. Redcurrant, blood plum, oregano and green olive aromas. A very savoury style, with good interplay of tannin and acidity adding to the core of red berry fruit, with notes of woody herbs on the fine finish. A good food wine.
