Visionary winemaker Peter Read planted this vineyard in the 1990's with relatively obscure varieties, many of which are now well known, such as this savoury Arneis.
Pale green. Complex nose of oyster shell, lemon salt, pear and peach. Slatey and citrussy with juicy stonefruit and apple core depth, some almond meal notes adding texture, soft acidity and a dry, savoury finish. Shows lovely umami throughout.
