Visionary winemaker Peter Read planted the vineyard in the 1990s with relatively obscure varieties, many of which are now firmly in the mainstream, like this Pinot Grigio.
Pale lemon straw in the glass. Subtle lychee and floral perfumes. Quite tropical, with underlying peach and white melon, touches of ginger and lemon drop, supple acidity and a satisfying finish. A crowd-pleasing style.
