Visionary winemaker Peter Read planted the vineyard in the 1990s with relatively obscure varieties, many of which are now firmly in the mainstream, like this Pinot Grigio.
Pale pink hue. Lifted apple, pear and almond meal aromas. Light and bright, with a savoury, mouth-watering mix of nashi and green apple, refreshing acidity, and a long finish with a quinine-like layer persisting. Very true to the Grigio style.
