Mount Avoca Estate is located in the heart of Victoria's cool climate Pyrenees region, where delicate white varieties such as their 2018 Sauvignon Blanc are a specialty. It delivers fresh lemony fruit with light herbaceous notes, red apple and stonefruit and lime-like acidity. Still youthful, but with faint hints of buttery maturity appearing.
From Windowrie Estate, the Pig in the House Organic Shiraz 2018 has been awarded a Trophy and 2x Gold medals. It shows a riot of fruit flavour, depth and generosity with peppery spice and subtle vanillin oak. Quite silken with glossy texture and lingering savoury tannins.
