Destination: Bliss with Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ships and itineraries reveal why this highly-awarded company truly is a class of its own.
The anchor is aweigh and the world awaits. In the meantime, have a spa treatment. Sip sunset cocktails. Enjoy a four-course meal. Next day, you just have to open your cabin curtains to find a bustling port, beach-fringed island or fjord flanked by glaciers...
Relaunch your travel dreams in style with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). With a 55-year history of cruise innovation behind it, NCL is the original pioneer of Freestyle Cruising, allowing guests ultimate freedom and flexibility: no fixed meal times or set dining tables, no formal dress codes, and activities from award-winning Broadway-shows to wellness, aqua parks, shopping – even go-karting.
Prefer some quiet time? You’ll love The Haven by Norwegian®, an exclusive ship-within-a-ship enclave featured on many of NCL’s ships, consisting of a private sundeck, lounge and restaurants, and 24-hour butler. This is the way holidays are supposed to be, unconstrained by any schedule; so enjoy the day as the mood takes you, encouraged by NCL’s Free at Sea offer, which includes free beverage and specialty dining packages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions credits and reduced rates for family and friends on select sailings. It all adds up to boundless bliss.

The Old World Beckons the New
Cruising is an amazing way to see Europe, and as Europe’s Leading Cruise line for 14 years running, NCL knows it perhaps better than any. Its Baltic cruises blend Scandinavian landscapes with chic cities. On Greek Islands cruises, you can visit the stunning volcanic island of Santorini and charming, history-dense Corfu, or enjoy a bespoke Meet the Winemaker experience with leading vintners from around the world.
On other immersive Mediterranean itineraries, ports such as Naples, Valletta and Dubrovnik make for wonderful approaches by sea, and are encrusted with a thousand years of architecture and art. Or, exciting Norway and Iceland sailings let you take in magnificent mountains and fjords; the 14-kilometre Geiranger Fjord in Norway provides one of the world’s great natural spectacles.
All up, NCL has 18 ships sailing to over 300 destinations across the world, from Alaska and Asia to Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia. Little wonder it has been named World’s Leading Cruise Line by the World Travel Awards six years in a row.

Primed for Pleasure
Now NCL is re-inventing the contemporary cruise experience all over again with its new, game-changing Prima-class ships. This new era begins with Norwegian Prima, debuting in Iceland this August, with sister ship Norwegian Viva launching in the Mediterranean in 2023. These innovative new ships feature stunning architectural design, more wide-open spaces, and more suite varieties than ever.
Firsts include Infinity Beach, with its expansive pool decks and infinity-style pools; an Oceanwalk glass bridge over water; and The Concourse, featuring an outdoor sculpture garden valued at USD $2 million. In another exclusive, Norwegian Prima will also be host to ‘Donna Summer – The Musical’.
The newly renovated Norwegian Spirit takes to the seas again in style.

Of course, NCL has always had a great range of dining choices from fine to casual, posh to poolside, but these two new ships take gourmet indulgence up another notch across 34 dining and beverage venues. Indulge Food Hall brings you an upscale indoor-outdoor food market of world cuisines including American Southern comfort food and barbecue, rotisserie, classic Indian dishes, tapas, noodles and more.
Meanwhile, all-new speciality restaurant Palomar focuses on high-end Mediterranean cuisine, and Hasuki on hibachi-style Japanese cooking. For liquid refreshment, NCL’s first sustainability–focused bar, Metropolitan Bar, has a biodynamic wine list, zero-waste cocktails and responsibly sourced spirits.
It isn’t only these new ships that are special, however. Norwegian Spirit, which debuts in Sydney this December, has had an extensive USD$100m renovation and now features 14 brand-new venues, including leading contemporary-Italian restaurant Onda by Scarpetta. It’s yet another jewel in the crown of this esteemed cruise line, feeding the soul as you rediscover yourself and the world in true, effortless style.
